CX1100-0002 | Power supply units and I/O interfaces for CX1010/CX1020:

For CX1010/CX1020 systems, one of four power supply modules can be chosen. The internal PC/104 bus ensures the power supply for all other system components without the need for separate supply lines. Beyond serving as a power supply, CX1100 components provide additional significant features: integrated NOVRAM for fail-safe storage of process data, an LC display presenting two lines of 16 characters each for system and user messages. The power supplies in the CX system are field-changeable.

Incorporating power supply, display, navigation switch, and NOVRAM, the CX1100-0002 further includes an I/O connection for Bus Terminals (KLxxxx). This connection option establishes a controller with a versatile, expandable I/O level accommodating a wide array of signals. The I/O data are stored in a DPRAM accessible to the CPU via the system bus.
